Selena’s [true] Sasquatch Story
Many have heard of Sasquatch (aka Bigfoot), but not everyone has actually SEEN him. Well, here’s my story (and I’m sticking to it)!
About 20 years ago, I was visiting friends at this property, and I showed up around midnight. The moon and stars had inconspicuously disappeared, and there were no other lights in sight. As I slowly pulled in the driveway, I followed the white stones all the way to the backyard.
Once stopped, I cautiously stepped out of the car and made a B-line for the side door. Just as I made it halfway to safety, l managed to lift my head and I saw something HUGE moving quickly towards me with long flailing arms.
The creature’s gait was at rate of speed that I could not comprehend. Adrenaline instantly kicked in and I darted at the speed of light back to the car, where I screamed and screamed until I was hoarse.
For me, there was no escape…because the night sky swallowed up all traces of light. So, I eventually fell sleep in a car filled with panic, fear, and trepidation. Would it pound on the windshield? Would I ever make it inside the house alive? My thoughts ran wildly as utter fear and shock of what I saw paralyzed me. Then, I fell asleep….inside my car.
When the morning sunlight awakened me, I was reminded of the night’s adventure. As I exited the car and entered the house of my friends, I announced that I believed I had actually seen Bigfoot. The roars of laughter overwhelmed me then, but today, I know that what I truly saw and experienced was a phenomenon that only a Sasquatch believer would know and understand.
